10 Jan Wynyard Homes begins work on Phase 2 at The Fairways, Alnwick

Housebuilder Wynyard Homes has confirmed that work is now underway on Phase 2 of The Fairways, its exclusive residential development set within the grounds of Alnwick Golf Club in Northumberland.

Following the successful sale of all homes in Phase 1, the next phase will deliver a limited collection of carefully designed new homes, continuing the development’s focus on space, quality and thoughtful design in one of Northumberland’s most sought-after locations.

The Fairways occupies a private setting on the edge of Alnwick, offering open views across the golf course while remaining within easy reach of the historic market town, its independent shops, schools and transport links. 

Drone footage of the site shows early works progressing, with the natural landscape and mature surroundings playing a central role in the layout of the next phase.Phase 2 will include a mix of four-bedroom detached family homes, one five-bedroom detached home, and a two-bedroom detached bungalow designed for single-level living. Each home has been planned to reflect the character of the setting, with carefully considered proportions, generous glazing and layouts that maximise light and outlook.

A strong emphasis has been placed on material choice, with designs drawing on traditional Northumberland architecture, incorporating heritage-led detailing and high-quality finishes intended to age well over time. As with earlier phases, the homes will combine classic exterior materials with contemporary interiors designed for modern living.
